About Us
Who We Are
Al-Asar Welfare Organization (AAWO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, formally registered under the Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, since 2010. Born from a commitment to serve humanity, AAWO began its journey during one of the most challenging humanitarian crises in Pakistan’s history the devastating floods of 2010.

Our mission is rooted in the conviction that lasting change begins when communities are empowered from within. Since our inception, Al-Asar Welfare Organization has worked with an unwavering commitment to uplift the most marginalized those whose voices are often unheard, whose rights are often overlooked, and whose potential remains untapped.
We provide rehabilitation, assistive devices, therapeutic care, and inclusive education so that PWDs can live independent, productive lives and participate equally in every sphere of society.
From preventive health campaigns to mobile clinics, we bring vital medical services to those with limited or no access to healthcare facilities.
We engage with government institutions, civil society, and communities to promote inclusive laws, protect rights, and strengthen systems that serve the marginalized.
